DESCRIPTION
GENERAL COURSE INFORMATION
Students are expected to arrive on time for each session with a black pen and Government Issued Photo Identification. We will take multiple breaks and have a working lunch on the full days. Escarpment Arms, Inc. will provide a .22 LR Semi-Automatic Pistol and holster for each student along with the ammunition required for the range. Any student wishing to utilize a 9mm, 40S&W or 45 ACP Pistol must rent the firearm for an additional fee and purchase the ammunition from Escarpment Arms. No firearms or ammunition will be brought in by students. Hearing and Eye Protection will be provided.
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course will cover the training curriculum set forth by the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services (NYS DCJS) in order to apply for a Concealed Carry Pistol Permit in New York State. This course will culminate with a written test along with a range qualification. Candidates that pass both the written test and range qualification will receive a completion certificate allowing them to apply for their New York State Pistol Permit. You will also get a STOP THE BLEED certificate and complete the American Heart Associations Friends and family CPR.
TESTING
The written test pass score is 80%, per the NYS DCJS. The shooting qualification shall consist of 5 shots delivered from 4 yards on an 11”x25.5” Target. 4 of 5 shots delivered must be on target to be considered a passing score per the NYS DCJS.

Registration & Payment: All Courses require pre-payment at the time of registration. All courses have a limited amount of students and courses are filled on a first-come, first paid basis. If the course is cancelled by Escarpment Arms, Inc, we will contact you to see if you would desire a 100% refund of your payment or if you'd like to be moved to a different time/date , otherwise your payment is 100% non-refundable.
